ABIS is affiliated to the Inter-American Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering AIDIS. The objectives of the association are: 1. To disseminate the technological advances in the field of Drinking Water, Sanitation and Environment. 2. To implement training programs for its members and professionals in general in the above mentioned areas. To provide technical and scientific advice to independent professionals and institutions related to the Drinking Water, Sanitation and Environment sector. To promote the development, scientific and technological contribution of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering. To provide advice on the subject of Basic and Environmental Sanitation to companies, institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations. 6.
